Phytochemical Research

Phytochemicals are the active compounds that make up plants. Research continues to show that previously ignored compounds like terpenes play a significant role in a plant’s medicinal effect. That’s why we’re committed to a holistic approach to plant analysis. By holistic, we mean that we understand that every organic compound in a plant contributes to its medicinal value. We want to understand the whole plant rather than a part of it.

We also want to share that understanding so researchers, producers, and consumers can be better informed. Much of the information we have about phytochemicals is in scholarly journals. Even if you have access to these journals, the specialist and technical language that fills them might be hard to wade through. Our experts are dedicated to pouring over the latest research and communicating the practical information they come across in a way that anyone can make use of.
